5 Popular Makeup Products That Are Cheaper on Amazon

I started my research for this article with the intent to find a few of my favorite products from Amazon to recommend to you.

As I got lost in the black hole of online shopping, I began to realize that every makeup product that I buy in stores is insanely cheaper here online. Some even come in double or triple packs, like my foundation! Why have I been sleeping on this?!

Ever since moving to Los Angeles, I noticed how much more these types of things were, even though I buy my makeup at stores like CVS or Walgreens, so this is an awesome alternative.

As a treat for you all, I’m going to share my top makeup favorites and how to find them for the best price on Amazon. All of the products listed below are my daily makeup go-tos, so you can guarantee my honest reviews. Even if what you use is not listed on here, I highly recommend you check Amazon for your products, because you’ll probably be just as surprised as I was to find that they’re far cheaper than in-stores.

1. Set of 5 Beauty Blenders

The cost of one original beauty blender is a cool $20. Twenty dollars for a sponge that you essentially punch yourself in the face with. Uh…thank u, next. I took to Amazon a few summers ago to see if I could find a better deal and bam, Amazon pulled through! I’ve reordered these twice since the first time I bought them because they’re absolute perfection. These expand when wet (which you should always wet your beauty blender so it can reach its full potential) and they come in different colors. They don’t soak up too much of your foundation, they’re soft, and they don’t have a weird chemical smell. Most of these sets usually come in at around $10, but I found this one for $7.95.

2. Makeup Brush Set

For the longest time I was using little makeup brushes from what I had when I was younger (we’re talking middle school days). It wasn’t until college when I decided to grow up and get myself an actual makeup brush set. *Don’t judge me* Again, I took to Amazon because I wasn’t about to buy a hundred dollar set of brushes.

I discovered these BS-Mall brushes in this beautiful rose gold color. They really do look professional and not cheap at all, despite their $10.99 price tag. The bristles are nice and packed in, yet still very soft. I was worried about them being flimsy, but they aren’t at all, especially the face brushes!

I highly recommend these, and you can grab your set of 14 brushes for only $10.99 right here.

3. Elf Poreless Primer

I started using this primer because I love elf products and think they’re pretty decent for their lower price. It has a strange consistency at first but it does feel light on the face. It really does wonders for your pores and smooths out your skin very nicely. There are also other options for their line of primers, including color correction, hydrating, and blemish control. I found all of these listed for only $5 and free shipping on Amazon! For some reason, elf started increasing their prices on this poreless face primer, and now I can only find it for $12 at CVS.

I was thrilled to find this on Amazon for $9 and free shipping instead.

4. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation

This shook me the most. I spend about $8 or $9 on this Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation at CVS. I absolutely love it, the medium, buildable coverage is just what I need, and it doesn’t turn orange when it oxidizes. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t dry out my face.

So when I saw that Amazon sells not only one, but a two pack of my foundation for $12…I knew CVS was quaking. They have 42 colors listed but note that not all of them come in a two pack. Still, this deal is UNREAL and if I had known this sooner I would’ve stocked up on foundation from Amazon. Definitely try searching whatever foundation you use on Amazon and you may be delightfully surprised at what you find.

Check to see if they have your color in Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation here on Amazon.

5. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

I cannot recommend this mascara enough! I’ve tried so many throughout the years and I’ve always come back to this one. I personally am not a fan of the bristle brushes because I think they make my lashes too clumpy. This rubber brush is perfect to create beautifully fanned out, perfectly separated lashes with amazing length.

Again, I usually pay around $9 for this in a store, but on Amazon it’s listed here for only $6.

I’ll continue searching through Amazon to find some of the best makeup deals to update you all with! Let me know some of the products you use and I’ll be sure to keep on the lookout.
