Mornings are my favorite time of day. I wake up with this fresh sense of optimism and opportunity and can’t wait to take on the day. It wasn’t always that way, but I attribute this feeling to my morning manifestation routine that I’ve recently incorporated into my day.

This morning routine allows me to refresh my mind and spirit, raise my vibration, get clear on my future goals and get centered on my tasks for the day. If you aren’t familiar with what manifestation means, you can check out my other blog posts (like these books to read learn more about it). But here’s a quick summary:

manifest moneyI’ve manifested some amazing things into my life, including my current place by the beach (literally 1 mile away!), my wonderful boyfriend, and my steadily increasing wealth. I love to dream big, but action is also necessary to make these dreams a reality. You can’t simply just sit on the couch and wish for a million dollars to fall into your lap. Spoiler alert: That’s not gonna happen.

This morning routine however, is mainly focused on the developing the energy you need to meet your goals. It’s all about increasing a positive mindset and helping you realize that anything you desire is in fact, 100% possible. Before you can achieve these crazy awesome dreams of yours, you have to truly believe that you can. That takes time, energy, and practices like the following.

So let’s walk through my morning manifestation routine and I’ll break it down for you!

Step 1: Affirmations

Every morning after making my coffee, I sit down and sip on it while I read through my affirmations. What exactly are affirmations? Affirmations are statements that you repeat to declare your goals in completed states to convince your subconscious of their truth. Basically, whatever you desire or want to become, you proudly exclaim those goals out loud as if you’ve already accomplished them. These can relate to any aspect of your life. You can say ones that have to do with self confidence, work goals, family goals, or anything your heart desires.

For example, here are some of mine I’ve used in the past:

  • My grateful heart is a magnet that attracts anything I desire.
  • I am always headed in the right direction.
  • I am the co-creator of my life and I choose how to live it.
  • I am unlimited in my wealth. All areas of my life are abundant and fulfilling.
  • I allow myself to be who I am without judgement.

Every morning, I wake up and say my affirmations to myself in my mirror loudly and proudly. I don’t rush through them and I try to let the true meaning sink in. I like looking at myself when I say them. It’s a bit hard to look into your own eyes and proclaim something you may initially not believe to be true, but eventually you will wholeheartedly believe every word.

Repeat them for as long as you need to. I used the same ones for a few months after I graduated college and was at one of my lowest points ever. It was a tough time, but these types of techniques really helped get me through it.

Sometimes I choose specific ones based on what I want to focus on that week. For example, right now, my current affirmations have to do with completing tasks on time. They’re sayings like “I am capable of producing high quality work on time every day.” I’m pushing past the mental boundary that I “don’t have enough time in my day” to get everything done.

Once I’m done reciting those, I already start to feel more confident and motivated. Then I move on to my next task in my morning manifestation routine.

Step 2: Journaling

Journaling has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been journaling since I was in elementary school and boy are those journals hilarious to read. Now my journaling has shifted quite dramatically and includes topics that help me work through fears, anxieties, and current troubles. I also like to reflect on the positive events of my life, how they make me feel, and how they play into my future dreams. Journaling is a great outlet for any of your emotions and I highly recommend you start. If you don’t know where to start with journaling, check out my journaling for beginners blog post! I also have a 7-day journaling challenge to kickstart your journey

I suggest starting with gratitude journaling. This is a fantastic way to raise your vibration and cultivate a positive mindset. You can start by listing out a few things that you’re grateful for every morning. This can be something as simple as your morning coffee to something as big as your new promotion at work, your house, or your family’s health. Once you start realizing all that you have, your gratitude will increase your positivity and invite more positive things into your life. You can buy journals with specific gratitude prompts here on Amazon

Another aspect of journaling for manifestation is know as scripting. Basically you write in your journal as if you’re already experiencing your dream life. Let’s say you want to live in Italy (so, basically my dream) so you write in the present tense about your day. It would be something like, “I wake up in the morning and walk over to the café down the street for a morning cappuccino. I talk with Alessandro the barista and enjoy my walk to the market to buy fruit and vegetables for today’s breakfast.” Keep going like that and truly immerse yourself in the scene. How would you feel in this life? Would you feel fulfilled, safe, and happy? Let those feelings sink in and let those energies align. It may feel super weird, but it’s honestly such a fun exercise.

Step 3: Go for a Walk

After I get into a positive and dreamy mindset, I love to enjoy the morning sun. Getting outside and enjoying fresh air is the perfect way to continue raising your vibration. I promise you that you will feel so much better after getting that blood flowing and feeling the sun on your skin. Sometimes I just listen to relaxing music and let my mind wander. Other times I love listening to my favorite podcasts and mindset and manifestation. These are some of my favorites:

Make sure to breathe in the fresh air, relax any tense muscles, and fully allow yourself to escape from thoughts of work or any stresses coming later that day.

Step 4: Meditate

After my walk, I already feel very relaxed. Keep that zen vibe going with a guided meditation. It doesn’t have to be long at all. There are plenty of meditations that are only 10 minutes or less. Find a comfortable spot in your room, grab your crystals (if you have any) and enjoy the peaceful message of a guided meditation. You can even light some sage, palo santo, or your favorite candle for more relaxing vibes.

If you have crystals, I like to hold some that are related to my intention for the day. Every crystal has different healing properties and correlate to your various chakras. I won’t dive too much into that, but you can find plenty of resources by searching on the internet. I choose about 2-3 crystals to hold while I meditate just to increase the feeling of positive and enlightening energy.

Here are some of my favorite meditation podcasts:

Purely Being

Mindful in Minutes

Rose Quartz Sound Bath

Sometimes I even like to put the crystals that I used that morning on my desk under my computer monitor to carry that practice with me throughout the day. It’s great to have a visual reminder of what my intentions are for the day. Plus crystals are just absolutely beautiful and definitely should be a part of your morning manifestation routine.

Step 5: Write Your To-Do List

Now that we’ve done plenty of mindset work, now it’s time to start engaging with the tasks for the day. By now you should be in a positive and welcoming headspace and ready for the day ahead. I like to write down all of my tasks to do on a post-it note. They can be work related and personal goals like doing my laundry or working out. I don’t want to forget any small task.

Writing down goals for the day makes you more likely to be productive if you can see what you have to do instead of just thinking about it. It’s extremely beneficial to have that visual reminder of the tasks at hand. Plus, by writing it down, you’re inserting these thoughts into your brain which is then subconsciously aware of everything you have to do. You naturally will work through how you can realistically get everything done throughout the day. This way you can also divide up your time and focus so you can successfully complete everything and not spend too much time on one thing.

“Where your focus goes, your energy flows.”

This quote is really important! If you can’t focus on one thing at a time, your brain will be all over the place and it will be so much harder to get things done! By breaking down each task into realistic goals, you can focus on completing one task at a time. Allow your energy to flow to one task at a time and I guarantee you’ll produce much higher quality work.

So bottom line, don’t forget to write out your to-do list every morning!

There you have it. That’s my high-vibe morning manifestation routine. You can definitely switch it up to make it your own. I hope some of these practices inspired you so that you incorporate some or all of them into your own morning routine.
